What can I do to reduce paranormal activity?

There are a few things you can do to reduce the paranormal activity in your home;

  • Create / Maintain a positive attitude
  • Burning a pure white candle everyday (creates positive energy)
  • Hanging a bell on entrances / doors to your residence (helps remove unwanted spirits)
  • Tell the spirit to leave and that it is not wanted (do not sound angry or fearful, speak calmly but firm)
  • Spirit chasers such as; gargoyles, tribal masks, native masks and the like (all can be used by placing them over doorways to ward off unwanted spirits)
  • Incense of various types and smells are also used to repel negative / unwanted spirits
  • Sprinkling salt around entrances/doorways (wards off negative spirits)

Are Spirits Dangerous?

The majority are not dangerous, they're just misunderstood. Most spirits cannot harm people, they are energy, it takes a lot of energy for them to manifest or say something, or make a light flicker, so in order for them to harm someone it would take an extraordinary amount of energy on their part to harm the individual in some way.

There have been cases where people have been harmed in some physical manner but those are extremely few and far between. You would probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than being physically attacked by a spirit.

Most spirits are hanging around for a reason, remember they used to be like us at one point in time. They may have issues or concerns that need to be addressed before they move on. Most times they are just trying to communicate in some way to the people by whispers, voices, moving objects, and so forth.

How can I get an investigation?

By contacting our Case Manager she'll determine if an investigation is needed and then the Parnormal Research & Rescue team will be sent to conduct the investigation. The Case Manager will contact you in order to ask questions, get background information, gather any other information that may be required in order to decide if the Paranormal Research & Rescue team should be sent.

What can I do to help with bad dreams?

Dreamcatchers have been used for centuries by the natives to ward off nightmares. They're made of woven sinew within a circle of wood or vines while having a polished stone in the center. This represents the native Grandmother Spider who is the goddess of wisdom and is said that she watches over those who use the dreamcatcher allowing good dreams to pass through while keeping out nightmares. The recommended place to hang a dreamcatcher is on the wall overtop of the head of the bed.

What about Ouija Boards or Séance?

There are a few issues with Ouija Boards and Séance. The first being the fact that people are actually touching the planchette so there is a human factor envolved, so you really can't tell who is actually controling the piece, is it a spirit or is it the people?

Second, when you use the board you are allowing a spirit to control your actions in order to move the planchette, therefore you are allowing yourself to be overshadowed or controlled by a spirit that you know nothing about, i'm sure you wouldn't want a stranger controlling your arms or any other part of your body.

Lastly, you have no idea whether or not that it is a positive or negative spirit that is trying to communicate with you or your group. The possibility of having a negative spirit coming through using the Ouija Board or Spirit Board is too great a chance, and you don't want any negative spirits/energies following you around. All in all, we do not suggest using Ouija Boards, Spirit Boards or attempting a Séance.
